About Launch Point Press
Launch Point Press (LPP) was founded by Lori L. Lake in 2014 and changed hands in January of 2023 to Jodi and Peggy Zeramby (Jodi’s pen name is Jazzy Mitchell). LPP has been and continues to be dedicated to publishing high-quality fiction books that center on the experiences of lesbian characters. Our mission is to elevate lesbian voices and stories and provide representation for the LBGTQ+ community in the publishing industry.
We believe that everyone deserves to see themselves reflected in the books they read, and that is why we strive to create inclusive and diverse stories that resonate with our readers.
Our books cover a range of genres, including romance, mystery, thriller, historical fiction, and more. We work with both established and emerging writers who share our passion for telling compelling stories that feature lesbian protagonists.
At LPP, we believe in building long-lasting relationships with our authors and readers.
Thank you for visiting our About Us page. We hope you will join us on our journey to promote diversity and representation in the publishing industry.

Desert Palm Press is our official “sister” press. We collaborate, cooperate, and assist one another in this crazy world of independent small press publishing.
Desert Palm Press is run by Lee Fitzsimmons, a woman who opened shop in 2014 to aid her friends with publishing their lesbian-themed stories. Lee gave Jodi Zeramby her chance to become a published author in 2015. In fact, under Jodi’s pen name, Jazzy Mitchell, DPP published five of her books and a short story that was contributed to a DPP-produced anthology.
As sister presses, LPP and DPP are a tremendous resource for one another. Watch for their collaboration of livestream events and more!
